Jeff Springborn has been LightEdge’s Chief Operating Officer since 2003. In addition to his experience in the capital markets, Jeff is a cloud, IT and data center colocation expert. His experience in IT and telecom has allowed him to lead LightEdge to become the premier provider of colocation and cloud services in the Midwest marketplace.

John believes in providing a high level of value to clients, through creating innovative solutions that maximize ROI. He is dedicated to excellence at all levels of service to clients, not only for today’s needs, but as the industry evolves in the years to come.
Scott Herron
Cavern Chief Operations Officer
Scott joined Cavern Technologies in 2009, bringing an impressive and diverse set of skills and experience. He works closely with Cavern’s operations team to provide superior maintenance of our facility, and ultimately ensures uptime, reliability and energy efficiency for our data centers. Scott is dedicated to exceeding client expectations in all aspects of facility management.
Before joining Cavern Technologies, Scott was a skilled private business owner and operator, with extensive experience in property management, HVAC and network cabling. Scott attended the University of Kansas and is a graduate of Ottawa University.
Mike Starr
Cavern Vice President of Facilities
Mike joined our team in 2017, and was previously the Facilities Manager. Mike is dedicated to providing operational excellence within Cavern’s secure, reliable, state-of-the-art facility. In his role, Mike manages the operations and maintenance of the critical facility physical infrastructures systems at Cavern, which are vital to the uptime and sustainability of our clients’ mission critical data centers. He oversees all aspects of facility operations on critical systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC and computer maintenance management systems. He is also responsible for facility development, including construction management and infrastructure upgrades.
Prior to joining Cavern Technologies, Mike spent over 25 years in numerous facility leadership roles across various industries in the Kansas City region. His depth of experience in managing teams and maintaining power and cooling equipment gives Cavern a deep and trusted resource for its infrastructure and beyond. Mike carries EPA and HVAC certifications.
